EHCON and NBMA Leaders Meet Accountant-General in Abuja

On June 30, 2026, Dr. Yakubu Mohammad Baba, Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON), and Dr. Fatima Suleiman Zuntu, Chief Executive of the National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA), paid a strategic courtesy visit to Dr. Shamseldeen B. Ogunjimi, the Accountant-General of the Federation, in Abuja.

The meeting aimed to strengthen inter-agency collaboration to promote effective public sector service delivery and enhance environmental health. Dr. Baba emphasized the importance of sustainable collaboration with the Office of the Accountant-General to ensure prudent financial management and efficient resource utilization.

Dr. Ogunjimi commended the leadership of both agencies for their proactive initiatives and reaffirmed the Accountant-General's commitment to supporting policies and programs that promote accountability and operational efficiency across government institutions.
