Senator Barau Addresses Price Shocks During Eid-el-Fitr

Barau noted that the Sultan Council declared Friday, March 20, 2026, as the first day of Shawwal 1447AH, marking the end of Ramadan. He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his relentless efforts to stabilize Nigeria's economy and ongoing reform policies.

Barau also highlighted the need for continued support to achieve security and economic stability, mentioning the relocation of security chiefs to Maiduguri following a terrorist attack. He expressed optimism regarding the 2026 budget, which aims to address the country's infrastructure challenges.
