Adeleke Calls for Unity and Forgiveness on Eid-el-Maulud

On the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke called on residents to embrace forgiveness, peace, and unity. In a goodwill message released on Tuesday through his spokesperson, Olawele Rasheed, he encouraged citizens to reflect on the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, such as compassion and tolerance.

Governor Adeleke appealed to political stakeholders and residents to move past the recent governorship election and concentrate on the collective development of Osun State. He stated that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad guide the building of a society based on mutual respect and harmony.

The governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to promoting religious harmony and equitable governance. He urged individuals and groups to set aside grievances and work together for the common good, emphasizing that lasting peace and sustainable development can only be achieved through unity and collective responsibility.

Adeleke prayed for continued peace and prosperity for the Muslim community, Osun State, and Nigeria during this celebration.
