Presidency Accuses El-Rufai of Diverting Attention from Corruption

Ajayi emphasized that El-Rufai's comments during a recent interview on national television, where he criticized the federal government and discussed his return to Nigeria amid a potential arrest by the Department of State Services (DSS), were part of a strategy to portray himself as a victim of persecution. The statement suggests that there are two clear intents behind El-Rufai's actions: to instill fear and unrest in the country and to distract from the massive corruption allegations he is facing in Kaduna State.
