Nigerian Electricity Union Threatens Shutdown Over Police Assault

The Nigeria Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) has threatened a nationwide power shutdown following alleged assault and abduction of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) staff by police in Imo State. The union demands the release of abducted workers, safety guarantees, and replacement of damaged property.
