Bagudu Urges Ministerial Aides to Boost Policy Implementation

On Monday in Abuja, Senator Abubakar Bagudu called on ministerial aides to enhance public policy implementation during the opening of a capacity-building workshop organized by the Ministerial Aid Network in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. Bagudu highlighted the crucial role of special advisers and technical assistance in improving government efficiency and public service delivery.

He praised the Ministerial Aid Network for sustaining initiatives aimed at enhancing professional skills among political appointees. Bagudu emphasized that no nation can achieve its development goals without strong institutional capacity and the involvement of technical experts.

He noted that ministerial aides often enter office through various political routes and may require technical support to perform effectively. He urged participants to embrace lifelong learning and recognize knowledge gaps, seeking guidance to foster professional growth.
