Bagudu Advocates for Enhanced Policy Advisory Skills

On a recent date, Abubakar Bagudu, a prominent political figure, urged ministerial aides to strengthen public policy advisory and implementation during a workshop held in Abuja. The event was organized by the Ministerial Aides Network (MANET) in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.

Bagudu highlighted the critical role of technical assistance in improving government efficiency and public service delivery. He praised MANET for sustaining initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of political appointees and emphasized the necessity of regular evaluations of skill needs for national development.

He suggested that training organizations work together to develop partnerships that support ministerial aides. Bagudu noted that no nation can achieve its development goals without strong institutional capacity and encouraged participants to engage in lifelong learning.

He also pointed out the various career paths available in public service and the importance of establishing clear professional goals to contribute effectively to national development.
