Enugu Unveils 260 Smart Green Schools for Future-Focused Education

Enugu transitions to Smart Green Schools with the unveiling of 260 newly built schools designed for modern learning. These schools feature 25 digitally connected classrooms, ICT centers, robotics labs, and AI spaces, emphasizing experiential learning.

Governor Peter Mbah highlighted the shift from traditional rote memorization to technology-integrated critical thinking education. The schools are powered by renewable energy, include smart farming, and offer free uniforms, books, meals, tablets, and medical services.

This initiative aims to prepare students for the future by fostering innovation, sustainability, and community development.
