David Raya Bids Farewell as Transfer to Werder Bremen Confirmed

David Raya has sent a heartfelt farewell message after his transfer from Arsenal to Werder Bremen was confirmed. Karl Hein, who is set to join Werder Bremen on a permanent basis in July 2026, shared an emotional message on Instagram reflecting on his time at Arsenal.

Hein, who has been sidelined due to injury, will join the new number one goalkeeper Mio Backhaus at Werder Bremen. He expressed gratitude for his nearly decade-long tenure at Arsenal, where he transitioned from the academy to the first team.

Hein made his first team debut in November 2022 during a match against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup. He has 45 senior caps for Estonia and has made two appearances in the Bundesliga.

The agreement for Hein's transfer is contingent upon completing regulatory procedures.
