Hudson-Odoi Undergoes Surgery, Out Until Pre-Season

Callum Hudson-Odoi, a 25-year-old winger for Nottingham Forest, has undergone successful surgery on a leg injury he sustained during the Europa League quarter-final second leg against Porto on Thursday. Following the injury, he missed Nottingham Forest's 4-1 Premier League victory over Burnley.

The club confirmed on Tuesday that Hudson-Odoi will not return to full fitness until pre-season. In a reflection on Instagram, he expressed his determination to recover strongly, stating that he does not want his season to end and is hopeful of returning stronger.

His absence is a significant setback for Nottingham Forest as they fight to maintain their Premier League status, currently sitting five points clear of the relegation zone. The team faces a challenging run of fixtures against Sunderland, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Manchester United, and Bournemouth, while also preparing for a Europa League semi-final clash against Aston Villa, scheduled for April 30.
