Liverpool FC Cuts Ticket Price Hikes After Fan Protests

Liverpool FC announced a revision to its ticket pricing strategy after fan protests. The club confirmed that the general admission price will increase by 3% for the 2026-27 season, following a freeze in ticket prices for the 2027-28 season.

This decision represents a significant change from the club's earlier plan to implement increases in line with inflation over a three-year period. The cheapest seat in the Kop will be priced at £734.50, while the most expensive seat in the main stand will reach £931.

Matchday ticket prices will range from £30 to £75 in the Anfield Road stand and the main stand. The decision to revise the ticket pricing model followed discussions with fan representatives, who welcomed the change.

Liverpool FC stated that it understands the disappointment regarding the upcoming price increase and aims to continue discussions with fans to find sustainable solutions for future support.
