Leboeuf Urges Alonso to Stick to Tactical Principles at Chelsea

Alonso is expected to address various issues following Chelsea's disappointing tenth-place finish in the Premier League, which resulted in missing European competition.

Leboeuf emphasized the importance of Alonso sticking to his tactical principles while making difficult decisions regarding the squad for the upcoming season. He noted the need to narrow down the player roster to 25, assessing their functions effectively.

Concerns were raised about goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, who has been inconsistent, with Leboeuf suggesting that his footwork poses a risk to the team. He referenced how Pep Guardiola successfully adapted Gianluigi Donnarumma's role at Manchester City and expressed uncertainty about whether Alonso would make similar adjustments.
