House of Estree Shines at Africa Fashion Week London

Esther Olorunfemi, designer and Creative Director of House of Estree, made a significant impact at the 16th Africa Fashion Week London. She presented a bold 12-look menswear and womenswear collection that redefined the use of Ankara textiles, moving beyond traditional silhouettes to contemporary tailoring.

The collection included structured jackets, tailored trousers, and winter coats, showcasing African textile heritage in a modern context. Additionally, Olorunfemi introduced her new activewear label, KOWRI, which features T-shirts, hoodies, and jogger pants designed for movement and rooted in African symbolism.

KOWRI, named after the cowrie shell, aims to resonate with contemporary values of wealth and protection. Following its successful UK launch, KOWRI is set to officially enter the Nigerian market on September 15, 2026.

Throughout the event, both House of Estree and KOWRI engaged with fashion influencers and buyers, emphasizing the craftsmanship and cultural significance of their collections.
