Ex-Edo Governor Warns Nigeria of Drifting Towards Lawlessness

Former Edo State Governor and ex-Chairman of the Nigerian Law Reform Commission, Senator Oserheimen Osunbor, warned of Nigeria's drift towards lawlessness under the current leadership. Speaking at a legal event in Lagos, Osunbor criticized the executive, legislative, and judiciary for undermining the rule of law, particularly highlighting the weakening of the judiciary's role as an independent check on the executive power.

He also condemned the suspension of democratic processes in River State. The event aimed to analyze the rule of law in contemporary Nigeria.
