Oyintiloye Grants Support to Small Businesses in Osun

On Tuesday, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a former member of the Osun State House of Assembly, distributed business grants to small-scale business owners in the Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State, in an event held in Ibokun to commemorate his birthday. The beneficiaries received grants ranging from N30,000 to N50,000.

Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the Progressive Congress in Osun State, described the gesture as part of efforts to reinforce initiatives championed by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, aimed at encouraging women's participation in small-scale businesses. He explained that the intervention seeks to promote the dignity of labor and support women in starting small enterprises and expanding existing ones.

Oyintiloye emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship for economic growth and urged beneficiaries to utilize the cash donations for the right purposes to ensure the sustainability of their ventures. The event also featured Pastor Benjamin Fabelurin, the immediate past chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Obokun Local Government, who reflected on the significance of wisdom and purpose in life.
