Osun Lawmaker Distributes 20,000 Notebooks to Schools

On Friday, Akinyode Oyewusi, the Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, distributed 20,000 exercise notebooks to pupils in 65 public primary and secondary schools within the Ife North Local Government Area. This initiative is part of Oyewusi's ongoing educational intervention program, which aims to reduce the financial burden on parents and encourage students to excel academically.

The total number of notebooks distributed has now reached 35,000, following a previous distribution of 15,000 notebooks in 2023. Oyewusi emphasized the importance of education and the need for continuous support to enhance learning and development in the community.

Segun Amur, representing the Ife North constituency, reaffirmed the commitment to prioritizing education and supporting the development agenda of Governor Ademola Adeleke. The initiative has received commendations from local traditional rulers and educational authorities, highlighting its positive impact on teaching and learning in the area.
