Ewor Accuses Fubara of Betrayal Over Coalition Support

Robinson Ewor, the former Acting Chairman of the Rivers State PDP, accused Governor Siminalayi Fubara of betraying the people of Rivers State by aligning with the Rainbow Coalition led by Nyesom Wike. Ewor expressed his disappointment during an appearance on Arise Television’s Morning Show, stating that many Rivers residents had supported Fubara during a political crisis, believing he was being unfairly treated.

He criticized Fubara for not communicating his political direction clearly, which he believes led to unnecessary risks taken by political leaders and supporters. Ewor stated that if Fubara had been transparent, the situation would have been different.

On the other hand, Governor Fubara publicly declared his support for the Rainbow Coalition during an event in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, stating that political hostilities in Rivers State should be left in the past and calling for unity under the coalition, which supports President Bola Tinubu and candidate Kingsley Chinda.
