Rabe Announces Candidacy for Katsina Senate Seat 2027

Engr Muttaqha Rabe, the former Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Trust Development Fund (PTDF), declared his intention to contest for the Katsina Senate seat representing the Katsina Zone in the 2027 elections. On Tuesday, Rabe revealed this decision after serious consultations with friends and associates, expressing the need for representation that reflects the interests of the eleven local government constituencies within the senatorial district.

He stated that his candidacy is not merely a personal ambition but a response to the people's call, emphasizing his wealth of experience as a civil servant, technocrat, and politician. Rabe affirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and committed to adhering to the party's rules and decisions regarding the senatorial seat.

He aims to work collaboratively with the people of Katsina Zone to achieve victory in the upcoming elections.
