Ogenyi Onazi Signs with FK Babrungas in Lithuania

Ogenyi Onazi, a 33-year-old former Super Eagles midfielder, has joined FK Babrungas, a club in Lithuania's second-tier league. He will wear the number 23 shirt as he begins this new chapter in his career.

Onazi previously played for FK Algiri earlier in his career and has had a diverse journey across Europe, including stints in Italian lower leagues with SSD Città di Acireale, as well as experiences in Turkey with Trabzonspor and Denizlispor, and in Denmark, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain. He has also represented Nigeria on the international stage, featuring in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and playing a key role in Nigeria's triumph at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

FK Babrungas is looking to strengthen its squad with Onazi's leadership and experience as they push for success in the current campaign.
