Warri/Effurun Flyover Project Nears Completion Ahead of Rain

The Warri/Effurun road and flyover project, undertaken by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, is nearing completion, with significant progress reported ahead of the rainy season. The Delta State Government funds this initiative, which includes the construction of three flyovers aimed at improving traffic flow and enhancing commercial activities in the metropolitan area.

As of now, the flyovers are approximately 97% complete, and local business owners express optimism about the project's potential to transform the economic and social landscape of the area. The project manager, Engr. Thomas Haug, disclosed that the flyovers are expected to be completed by the end of March, although he declined to comment on the exact commissioning date.

Residents have already begun to feel the positive impact of the project, with improved road conditions noted. The Delta State Government continues to support the initiative, which is part of a broader effort to address long-standing infrastructure challenges in the region.
