Delta State Begins Construction of N59.7bn Flyover for Safer Roads and Economic Growth

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, alongside Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, has initiated the construction of a N59.7 billion flyover at Agbor-Uromi junction to address traffic congestion and accidents. The project aims to improve road safety, boost economic activities, and reduce travel time.

The flyover will span 1.3 kilometers along the Uromi-Agbor highway, featuring dual carriageways, ramps, roundabouts, drainage systems, and solar-powered streetlights. This infrastructure development is expected to create job opportunities and enhance mobility in the region, emphasizing the government's commitment to inclusive and balanced development.
