FAAN Investigates Viral Altercation at Delta Airport

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has launched an investigation into a viral video that shows an altercation between an Aviation Security (AVSEC) personnel and a passenger at Osubi Airport, also known as Alfred Diete-Spiff Airport, in Delta State. The investigation was announced in a statement by FAAN's Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire, following public outrage over the incident.

FAAN's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Olubunmi Kuku, has directed an immediate inquiry to ascertain the facts surrounding the incident. The authority has pledged to impose appropriate disciplinary measures if any breaches of operational procedures or professional standards are identified.
