FCC Leads as CCC Lagos Nears Cricket Play-offs in Premier League

The Federal Cricket Club (FCC) has taken the lead as CCC Lagos approaches the play-offs in the premier cricket league. Notable performances include FCC securing a dramatic four-run victory over Ibeju Lekki Cricket Club.

Island Titan Cricket Club also achieved a five-wicket victory, remaining unbeaten in six matches. The league, which began with four clubs in 1987, has now expanded to 22 teams across two divisions.

The top two teams from each division will advance to the Super 4 tournament, with the top two earning promotion to the premier division. The premier division champion will be determined through the Super 6 tournament, while the bottom two teams will face relegation.

Other clubs like Government College Ibadan, Rise Star Federal Government College Warri, and MRI Warriors are also competing in the league.
