FCSC Launches Online Accreditation for 2026 Promotions

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has commenced online accreditation for officers on Salary Grade Levels 14, 15, and 16 in preparation for the 2026 promotion exercise. Ibraheem Zakariyya, the Head of Press and Public Relations at FCSC, announced that the online accreditation will take place from Friday, August 14, 2026, to Friday, August 28, 2026.

All affected candidates must complete the accreditation via the Commission’s designated promotion portal within this timeframe. Candidates will receive login details at their registered email addresses and are encouraged to complete the process early to avoid last-minute issues.

The accreditation portal will close on August 28, 2026, with no extensions allowed. Those who do not complete the accreditation will need to reapply for the promotion exercise in 2027.

Zakariyya urged permanent secretaries, accounting officers, and chief executive officers of ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) to ensure compliance and inform all affected officers, including those stationed outside their headquarters or abroad. The directive was signed by the chairman of the FCSC.
