Abuja Celebrates 50 Years with Major Infrastructure Growth

As the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) celebrates its fiftieth anniversary, Abuja has emerged as a symbol of national unity and strategic governance. Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, the Renewed Hope Agenda has led to unprecedented infrastructure development, spearheaded by the Minister of the FCT, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.

A notable 31-day commissioning of various infrastructure projects has marked a significant chapter in Abuja's growth. Key projects include the Outer Southern Expressway (OSEX), Arterial Road N5, Airport Expressway-Kuje Dual Carriageway, and the Karu Water Supply Scheme, which have enhanced connectivity, reduced travel times, and opened new investment opportunities.

The administration's strategy emphasizes balanced development beyond the city center, integrating satellite towns like Karu, Kurudu, and Jikwoyi into Abuja's economic framework, aligning with the original Abuja Master Plan for inclusive growth.
