Aqua Shelter Foundation Launches Borehole in Kpere Community

The Aqua Shelter Help Foundation, led by founder Sulaiman Adeyemi Andu, commissioned its first borehole project in Kpere community, located in the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The commissioning ceremony took place over the weekend and aimed to provide clean and safe water to the residents.

Andu described the project as a significant milestone for the community, which has been without reliable access to clean water for 30 years. The project was funded by Bluenest Ltd, which is committed to sustainable community development.

The foundation conducted extensive needs assessments across several communities, identifying Kpere as having the greatest potential for immediate impact. The village head, Mr.

Bako, expressed gratitude for the water provision, emphasizing its importance for the community. Traditional leaders and stakeholders were present, including Aminu Umar and Dr.

Amdala Adedayo Okusanya, who conveyed goodwill messages during the ceremony.
