FCT Pilgrim Board Announces 2027 Hajj Fare at N7.7m

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board, led by Director Malam Kadiri Edah, announced the 2027 Hajj fare at N7.7 million. This decision aligns with the recent announcement from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Edah stated that intending pilgrims who previously deposited a minimum of N7.5 million must now pay their outstanding balances through a bank draft payable to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board by the deadline of September 25, 2026. He emphasized the importance of submitting valid international passports, which must remain valid until October 2027, along with a photocopy of the National Identification Number (NIN) slip, four recent passport photographs, and a completed guarantor’s form.

Failure to submit these documents may result in forfeiting their Hajj slots. Edah reaffirmed the Board's commitment to ensuring the welfare of FCT pilgrims through timely airlifting, suitable accommodation, and quality meals during the pilgrimage.
