FCT Sets 2027 Hajj Fare at N7,672,822 for Pilgrims

The Federal Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board (FCT MPWB) has announced that the fare for the 2027 Hajj for intending pilgrims from the FCT, Abuja, is set at N7,672,822. This announcement was made by the director of the board, Malam Kadiri Edah, during a press briefing in Abuja.

The fare aligns with the recent guidelines issued by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). Malam Kadiri instructed intending pilgrims who previously deposited a minimum of N7,500,000 to make their balance payments through a bank draft payable to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board by the deadline of September 25, 2026.

He emphasized the importance of submitting international passports, which must be valid through October 2027, along with a photocopy of the National Identification Number (NIN) slip, four recent passport photographs, and a completed guarantor’s form. The board remains committed to ensuring the welfare of FCT pilgrims through timely airlifting, suitable accommodations, and quality food.
