FCT Police Command Shines at National Masters Athletics

The FCT Police Command achieved remarkable success at the 1st National Masters Athletic Championship, which took place from May 1 to May 3, 2026, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium. The command's athletes secured a total of gold and silver medals across various events.

Notably, ASP Ibrahim Aliyu won a gold medal in the 100m race, while ASP Alolad Olanrewaju earned a silver medal in the discus throw. Insp Elvi Elaigwu also contributed to the medal tally with a silver medal in the triple jump.

The Commissioner of Police for the FCT Command, CP Ahm Muham Sanusi, PhD, FCAI, commended the officers for their dedication, discipline, and excellence, noting that their achievements reflect the command's commitment to the overall development of its personnel and the promotion of physical fitness.
