Wike Mocks Aisha Yesufu Over NDC Primary Loss

Nyesom Wike, a prominent political figure, mocked activist Aisha Yesufu for her failure to secure a candidacy in the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) primary election for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Wike's remarks were made during a luncheon held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He criticized Yesufu, stating that despite her known ability to articulate issues, she could not win an ordinary primary election within the NDC. Wike emphasized that her focus on speaking "grammar" did not translate into electoral success, highlighting that the NDC primary was distinct from other political parties like the APC and PDP.

He further commented on her lack of business acumen and suggested that her media presence was ineffective, as she was unable to provide relevant data or insights during discussions.
