FCTA to Crack Down on Ground Rent Defaulters in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) in Abuja will enforce actions against individuals and organizations defaulting on ground rent and other statutory land charges. This crackdown follows interventions by President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, with notices issued to property owners to settle outstanding fees.

The enforcement will target those who have not updated ownership documents, including unregistered property buyers. The initiative aims to ensure compliance with land use regulations and ownership requirements in Abuja.
