BOSCHMA and Borno Judiciary Recognized for Digital Innovations
The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) presented awards in Abuja to recognize public institutions for their digital reforms. BOSCHMA was awarded as the best state ministry, department, or agency in digital health service delivery, while the Borno State Judiciary received recognition for its electronic court system.
The awards were accepted by Dr Saleh Abba Kaza, Executive Secretary of BOSCHMA, and Justice Kashim Zannah, Chief Judge of Borno State. BPSR Director General Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi emphasized the importance of innovation in public service and urged institutions to leverage technology for improved service delivery.
Katsina State Governor Radda highlighted reforms in public administration, including merit-based recruitment and reduced paper processes, attributing the state's digital transformation to the Directorate of ICT. Kaza noted that BOSCHMA's recognition was the result of five years of dedicated work.
Dr Ibrahim Kana, Permanent Secretary of the General Services Office, mentioned the Federal Government's investments in digitizing various services.
