FG Inaugurates ₦40 Billion CCTV Control Center on Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos

The Federal Government has launched a ₦40 billion CCTV control center on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos to bolster security and prevent incidents like speeding and suicide attempts. The project, overseen by the Ministry of Works, includes surveillance cameras, security equipment, and monitoring facilities.

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation executed the project. The center features advanced technology such as solar panels, inverters, and standby generators.

The initiative aims to enhance infrastructure and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
