Nigerian Government Commits to Providing Housing for Railway Workers

The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development led by Ahm Dangiwa, has reiterated its dedication to offering affordable housing solutions to Nigerian railway workers. The government aims to prioritize the welfare of workers, including those from the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).

The visit by NRC worker union leaders to the ministry emphasized the importance of home ownership for workers, with support from figures like Bola Tinubu. The ministry is working to compile a comprehensive list of staff interested in housing opportunities, with a focus on securing housing for railway workers in Abuja and other major cities.
