Fidelity Bank delays H1 2026 audited financial statements

Fidelity Bank Plc has announced that NGX has approved a further extension of time for the publication of its Audited Financial Statements for the half year ended June 30, 2026. The bank previously received an extension to September 30, 2026, which was disclosed in a press release dated August 21, 2026.

Fidelity Bank Plc has informed the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), its shareholders, and other stakeholders that NGX has granted a second extension of time for the publication of its Audited Financial Statements (AFS) for the half year ended June 30, 2026.

The bank had earlier been granted an initial extension to September 30, 2026, as communicated in a press release on August 21, 2026. That deadline has now passed without publication. According to the bank, the AFS will be published upon receipt of regulatory approval, though no specific new deadline was stated in the filing.

As a consequence of the delayed publication, the trading window for the bank's Insiders and their Connected Persons remains closed. The bank stated that this closure will remain in effect until 24 hours after the publication of both the AFS for H1 2026 and the Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended September 30, 2026.

The press release was signed by Company Secretary Ezinwa Unuigboje and filed with NGX on October 6, 2026. Shareholders with enquiries were directed to contact the bank via email at info.investor@fidelitybank.ng or by telephone.
