FIFA has called for tolerance in football after reporting more than 30,000 abusive posts by fans on social media platforms. The organization aims to keep football a safe and inclusive space both on and off the pitch.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino highlighted the need to protect players, coaches, teams, and match officials from online abuse. Measures include deploying advanced technology and human expertise through the Social Media Protect service.

FIFA is working with Interpol and various countries to identify and hold offenders accountable for their behavior, ensuring a zero-tolerance approach to online abuse in football.
