Fire at Nigerian Breweries Aba Warehouse, No Casualties

On Thursday, a fire broke out at the Nigerian Breweries Plc warehouse located in Aba, Abia State. The facility, situated opposite the Aba brewery, was used to store empty plastic crates.

Mr. Uaboi Agbebaku, the company secretary, confirmed in a release to the Nigerian Exchange Ltd that there were no casualties reported from the incident.

The fire was quickly contained by the company's emergency response team, which managed the situation with support from relevant government agencies. Nigerian Breweries acknowledged the assistance of the host community in controlling the fire.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire. Despite the incident, the company assured that operations at the Aba brewery, including product logistics and sales, remain unaffected and stable.
