Fireboy DML Recalls Terrifying First Days in Lagos

Fireboy DML recounted his frightening experiences after relocating to Lagos in 2016 to pursue his music career. Upon arriving in Surulere, he encountered unsettling sights, including witnessing someone run mad, dead bodies, and cultists within just two weeks.

Despite these alarming experiences, Fireboy chose not to return home and gradually adapted to the lifestyle of Lagos. Years later, he caused a different kind of concern among his family when he posted an Instagram Story showing himself with a cigarette in his mouth.

His relatives discussed the post in their WhatsApp group, prompting Fireboy to assure them it was merely an act, although he later admitted to smoking the cigarette.
