Pillarcraft Launches UsawaConnect for E-Invoicing Compliance

Pillarcraft Cloud Solutions announced the launch of UsawaConnect, a platform designed to help Nigerian businesses comply with the Nigeria Revenue Service's electronic invoicing requirements. This initiative marks a significant transition to a digital tax framework, with the platform facilitating compliance by allowing businesses to generate and transmit compliant invoices automatically.

The implementation of the e-invoicing regime will occur in phases, with large taxpayers expected to adopt it by July 2026. Businesses that fail to comply risk having their invoices rejected, leading to payment delays and increased exposure during tax audits.

The platform is intended to integrate seamlessly with existing business systems, minimizing disruptions. Bayod Agbi, Chief Executive Officer of Pillarcraft, emphasized that the transition to e-invoicing should not be managed solely by businesses but should involve professional advisors.

The platform is available nationwide, urging businesses to prepare for compliance as deadlines approach.
