Five NYSC Members in Anambra Get Automatic Employment

Five members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra were granted automatic employment following the successful completion of their service. Mr.

Paulin Ojisua, the NYSC Anambra Coordinator, disclosed this during a certification ceremony held at the Ihiala Local Government Council Secretariat. The event recognized 933 corps members from the 2025 Batch B Stream who completed their one-year mandatory national service.

Ojisua congratulated the outgoing corps members and urged them to embrace self-reliance and utilize the vocational skills acquired during their service. He emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and encouraged corps members to engage in productive ventures rather than waiting for traditional white-collar jobs.

Additionally, he mentioned that two corps members faced disciplinary actions, while nine others had to repeat their service year due to absconding from mandatory exercises. The certification ceremony was conducted simultaneously across 21 local government areas in the state.
