FME Bids Farewell to Enitan as New Head of Service

The Federal Ministry of Education held a farewell ceremony for Mr. Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan, who served as the Permanent Secretary for 17 months before his appointment as the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. During the ceremony in Abuja, Enitan expressed gratitude to God, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, and Prof. Suwaiba Said Ahmad for the opportunity to serve.

He reflected on his tenure as memorable and transformative, commending the Ministry's staff for their dedication to advancing education and national human capital development. Enitan noted the Ministry's recent recognition at the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Awards, where it won three awards in five categories.

He urged staff to uphold public service integrity, adopt data-driven decision-making, and manage resources prudently. Enitan reassured the workforce that his new role would not sever his ties with the education sector, pledging to support the Ministry in his new capacity.
