Peter Obi Urges Youths to Focus on Impact, Not Money

Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party and ex-governor of Anambra State, addressed Nigerian youths at the Faithspir Initiative Youth Forum Season 3 held at the Holy Trinity Field, Basilica Square in Onitsha, Anambra State, on a Sunday night. He encouraged the youth to prioritize making an impact over the pursuit of money, stating that true success is derived from creating value and fulfilling a purpose.

Obi shared his personal journey, highlighting that he rose from humble beginnings and emphasized that financial success often follows when one focuses on meaningful contributions. He advised the youth to seek opportunities regardless of their backgrounds and to avoid the misconception that money alone brings happiness.

Obi's remarks reflect his broader vision for empowering young Nigerians, as he previously garnered significant support during the 2023 general elections, particularly among the youth, despite ultimately losing to Bola Tinubu.
