Foluke Daramola, a Nollywood actress, has officially obtained a nomination form to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives representing the Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1. She announced her intention through a Facebook post, where she shared a photograph of herself holding the form.

Daramola expressed her commitment to supporting laws aimed at improving the welfare of workers. She urged residents of Oshodi-Isolo to pursue their ambitions and clarified her purpose in seeking the position.

This move adds her to the growing list of entertainers aiming for electoral positions ahead of the 2027 elections. In related news, Cubana Chief Priest reportedly obtained a form to contest for the Orsu, Orlu, Oru East Federal Constituency seat in Imo State under the Progressive Congress (APC), while actor Zubbi Michael has expressed interest in seeking a seat in the House of Representatives for the African Democratic Congress.
