Urgent Help Needed for Former U16 World Cup Winner

Binaebi Numa, a former member of Nigeria's U16 World Cup-winning team, is currently facing severe health challenges due to Parkinson's disease, which has significantly impacted his daily life. His brother, Mr.

Ebbyzymor Numa, revealed that Binaebi requires urgent treatment abroad, specifically deep brain stimulation surgery, which is not available in Nigeria. The Federal Medical Centre in Yenagoa and the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital have been involved in his care, but the necessary advanced neurosurgical intervention is unavailable locally.

Mr. Numa has made a heartfelt appeal for support from the Nigerian public and government, urging them to rally behind his brother, who was part of the 1985 cadet World Cup team in China.

The costs associated with the surgery, travel, and post-operative rehabilitation are substantial, and the family is seeking assistance to ensure Binaebi can regain his speech and mobility.
