Ondo Assembly Crisis Over Alleged N44m OSOPADEC Mismanagement

The Ondo State House of Assembly is facing a crisis due to allegations regarding the management of approximately N44 million released by the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC). This controversy arises shortly after an impeachment attempt against Oladiji. Reports indicate that 21 out of 26 lawmakers have signed an impeachment notice against him for misconduct related to the OSOPADEC funds.

Fayemi-Obayelu has called for Oladiji's resignation or impeachment, asserting that a majority of the House supports this action. Oladiji has denied all allegations, labeling them as false and politically motivated, and challenged Fayemi-Obayelu to provide evidence for her claims.
