FrieslandCampina WAMCO Reports 566% Profit Surge in 2025

FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC announced a remarkable 566% surge in profit before tax (PBT) during its 53rd Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja. The financial year ending December 31, 2025, saw the company report a PBT of ₦32.7 billion, up from ₦4.9 billion in 2024, marking a significant recovery from a loss of ₦749 million the previous year.

Revenue increased by 25% to ₦615.9 billion in 2025, driven by volume growth and improved operational efficiency. The company’s gross profit rose to ₦119 billion, supported by a better product mix and cost optimization initiatives.

Shareholders approved a dividend of ₦1.00 per 50 kobo ordinary share for the 2025 financial year. Managing Director Roger Adou emphasized the company's successful return to profitability despite economic challenges, while Chairman Olayinka Sanni noted the gradual improvement in inflation and foreign exchange stability, which bolstered business confidence.
