Umo Eno's Aris Palm Resort Transforms Akwa Ibom Tourism

The Aris Palm Resort project, initiated by Governor Umo Eno in Akwa Ibom State, is a transformative development aimed at revitalizing an erosion-ravaged landscape and boosting local tourism. The project employs 2,000 direct construction staff and 10,000 indirect workers, significantly impacting the local economy.

With 95% completion, the resort is designed with 100% local content, showcasing the skills of Akwa Ibom residents. Notable figures such as Udem Udofia from the University of Calabar and international business leaders like Alik Holger Knaack have praised the project for its ambitious scope and potential to position Akwa Ibom as a key player in Nigeria's tourism sector.

The project has diverted youth from crime and created numerous job opportunities across various skill levels, including engineering and construction.
