Fubara Unveils 105-Bed Zonal Hospital in Omoku

Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, unveiled a remodeled and fully furnished 105-bed Zonal Hospital in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area over the weekend. He stated that his administration prioritizes healthcare delivery and has taken steps to ensure access to quality healthcare across the state.

Fubara highlighted the significance of the project, noting that while lost wealth can be regained, lost health is much harder to recover. He emphasized that healthcare is a fundamental responsibility of the government, alongside protecting lives and property and providing essential services.

The new health facility is intended to serve not only Omoku but also the wider Rivers West Senatorial District, reflecting the government's commitment to the well-being of its citizens.
