Ghana FA Dismisses Otto Addo as Black Stars Head Coach

The Ghana Football Association (Ghana FA) has officially sacked Otto Addo from his position as head coach of the Black Stars. This decision comes after a series of disappointing performances, particularly a pre-World Cup friendly match against Austria, which raised concerns about the team's readiness for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Ghana FA confirmed that Addo's dismissal is effective immediately and expressed gratitude for his services while wishing him well in his future career. This marks the end of Addo's second spell as head coach.

The football body also indicated that it would soon announce interim arrangements for a new head coach as they prepare for upcoming competitions.
