PMI Launches Lion Education Forum to Enhance Student Readiness

The Project Management Institute (PMI) has launched the Lion Education Forum in Lagos, aimed at connecting academia with the creative industry to better prepare students for the rapidly changing job market influenced by artificial intelligence and a creative economy. The forum responds to the growing need for alignment between classroom teachings and the skills required in today's economy.

Menaka Gopinath, the Chief Market Officer at PMI, stated that the initiative will focus on two core areas: developing future-ready curricula and strengthening pathways to employment. This collaborative effort seeks to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in various professions, emphasizing the importance of creative problem-solving and adaptability in an evolving workforce.
